Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the research, design, development, and integration of new ultrasound systems.
  • Coordinate projects and tasks with other colleague to complete assignments and projects on schedule.
  • Research and investigate leading edge technologies for creating new products or processes.
  • Support new product development project while adhering to quality control and regulatory procedures.
  • Facilitate the translation from conceptual testing to prototyping and manufacturing.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, electrical and electronic Engineering, or a relevant engineering or physical science discipline.
  • At least 2 years minimum experience in the field of electronics or signal processing field.
  • Demonstrated experience with PCB design for electrical appliances for rapid prototyping activities and further development process.
  • Knowledge in ultrasound electrical appliances PCB design is a bonus
  • Familiarity with signal collection, signal processing techniques and signal-to-noise ratio analysis.
  • Experience in MATLAB or any related software for signal processing and development.
  • Capability to work in a fast paced, regulated environment, with strict adherence to a quality system.
  • Hands-on experience in bring-up, debug, and testing of sensing systems using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum/network analysers.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with every level of the organization.
  • Foresight and innovative ability.
  • Strong organization, planning and work coordination skills.
  • Meticulous and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of staff.
  • Responsible, independent, detail minded and can work under pressure.

  • Assist with experimental planning, concept validation and execution of wet lab.
  • Assist with preparing and analyzing samples.
  • Conduct literature review, data analysis and provide suggestions for follow-up actions of experiment.
  • Maintain daily operation of laboratory, such as procurement, inventory check, calibration and maintenance of equipment.

 

Requirements

  • BSc or above in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering or any other related discipline
  • Fresh graduate is welcome.
  • Experience in general laboratory work
  • Good written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Familiar with medical device regulatory requirements
  • Foresight and innovative ability
  • Strong organization, planning and work coordination skills
  • Meticulous and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of staff
